Looks like I’m turning Kristin’s 10-Day YOU Challenge into a 10-week challenge. Oh well, I’m sure she won’t mind. To read my 10 secrets, go here.
Here are my 9 Loves:
1. This guy.
I don’t want to make you jealous or anything, but Jordan is probably the best husband on the planet. He makes me laugh constantly. He supports me in everything from running to teaching to family life to whatever — and he believes in my biggest of dreams even more passionately than I do. I am one lucky gal to be spending my life with this fella.
2. Family.
My family (top photo) is awesome. And then I got really lucky and married into an equally awesome family.
3. These girls. These are my college roommates. We had some great times, but more importantly, we formed solid friendships. We don’t get to see each other much anymore (because of lame excuses like “jobs” and “babies” and “living in separate states” ), but when we do, we pick up right where we left off.
4. Mountains.
Because who wouldn’t love them!
5. Running.
That one is a given, of course, but I couldn’t list my loves and leave it off!
6. Books. Normally, I cannot sit still. But give me a good book, and I can sit and read for hours. I love getting lost in a good story.
7. Travelling.I haven’t traveled nearly as much as I want to, but I love to go places!
8. Peanut Butter Puffins.
Which is why I wore a Puffins necklace (artfully crafted by Logan) at Chase the Moon (just for the picture, not while running).
9. 90’s music.
Nsync and Joe Diffie make me nostalgic.
What are some of your loves?
Who was your favorite 90’s band/artist?
I heard some old Garth on the radio yesterday and it made me nostalgic. 90s music was good and fun 🙂 Great loves!
I love the mountains but I am on even bigger fan of the wide open spaces, mountains make me feel a little claustrophobic after awhile, all those trees!!!
Songza playes two Garth songs in a row this afternoon. It made my day. 🙂
I LOVE 90s music!!! I listen to it on the Songza app all the time. 🙂 I enjoy traveling as well, but I definitely do not do it as much as I’d like.
Me too! Songza is the best!
Major props for posting a picture of Nsync and not the Backstreet Boys!
I have to admit, I also loved some BB back in the day…
Haha, Brooke’s comment made me laugh. Agree. I have never had Peanut Butter Puffins before, but sounds yummy! I have a lot of these same loves on my list, minus your husband, of course. When I think of the 90s, I always think of Spin Doctors, TLC, and Green Day (to name a few)…. so many memories!
Thanks for not putting my husband on your loves list. 🙂 You should try the Puffins. They’re addictive!
I too love 90s music! I went to an Nsync concert once. I loved them. Yesterday on the way home from the beach, Paul and I listened to a Mariah Carey CD and boy did it bring back memories!
I’m a little jealous that you saw Nsync. That would be 12-year-old Cassie’s dream come true.
Loved this post and yes yes yes yes to NSYNC. My friends and I have a huge NSYNC vs BSB battle going on right now. I think I should put a poll on my blog 🙂 It’s funny that I read this today because JT is actually performing a concert in our area tonight. I wasn’t able to go because tickets sold out in MINUTES! CRAZZZZYYY!
PS~I also listened to Joe Diffie!
Oh man, I would still love to see JT!
nice list, and thanks for including the fam!
